Welcome!

I began my Shamanic journey over 10 years ago with a chance encounter with some Medicine cards and a copy of the Beginner's guide to Shamanic Journeying by Sandra Ingerman. Since then, I've studied with Debra Morrill, Heidi Fromi, Ana Larramendi, Jean Schneider, Asia Voight, and Mary Preuss Olson.

I created The Ancient Willow, LLC to help people on their healing journey. It was named in reverence to the willow trees where I grew up. Additionally, willow trees have long been symbols of flexibility and adaptability, which are key components to my practice.

Most recently, I've taken a deep dive into the intersection of technology and energetic healing. I practice out of my home in rural Waunakee, WI. where I hold space there with my wife Laurie and our four cats: Milo, Monte, Freya and Frisco.

Services offered

Each shamanic healing session is unique to you and directed by our spirit guides. At a base level, shamanic healing entails taking out energy that no longer serves you and/or putting energy back in place that has been lost.

Here are some of the common shamanic healing techniques that may be incorporated into your healing. We'll work together to determine what technique or techniques are best for your highest good for your session:

Soul retrieval – returning missing soul essence to restore wholeness and vitality
Ancestral healing – healing and transforming wounds, traumas and heavy energy passed down through the family lineage
Compassionate depossession – clearing suffering beings (also known as discarnate spirits or ghosts) who have attached to the energy field of a living person
Curse unravelling – releasing the energy and power from a curse
Agreement unravelling – releasing limiting agreements that cause discomfort and blockage
Breathwork – using the power of the breath to clear heavy energy from the body and energy field
Extraction – removing intrusive energy from the body or energy field
Power animal retrieval – connecting to the wisdom and medicine of an animal spirit guide to reclaim lost power and vitality
Destiny retrieval – connecting energetically with true purpose in this lifetime
Cord removal – tracking and releasing unhealthy energetic connections
